A combination of various factors such as S-facing vineyards, loess soils, warm winds due to the Pannonian climate all enable the production of this unique, yet a creamy Grüner Veltliner. Waldschutz’s Grüner Veltliner is a riper version of the variety, but is still fresh and a little rounder on the palate, making it much more food friendly (especially with most Asian cuisines)! Its roundness comes from the six months on lees, which adds texture and body.
This wine is full of stone fruit, tropical fruit and orange peel characteristics with a refreshing acidity. Just calls for a nice sunny weather to sip this delightful white outdoors.
