Triebaumer’s vineyards are situated near the picturesque lakeside town of Rust, where the beautiful Lake Neusiedl exerts its influence over the region, warming the land in autumn and cooling it in summer. This microclimate provides consistently pleasant growing conditions, especially for late-ripening varieties, and aids in the production of the region’s celebrated wines.

This Furmint is a particular treat, with floral aromas that give way to flavours of crunchy yellow apples and pears, lemon, quince, and tropical fruits. A creamy texture balanced with zippy acidity makes for a delicious wine that could star as an accompaniment to a wide range of dishes, though the winemakers recommend duck rillettes with thyme toast.
