In 1985, Tomàs Cusiné started making wine at his iconic family vineyard, Castell del Remei. From here, Tomàs launched two new vineyards and has rapidly become one of Spain’s foremost viticultural leaders, with experience spanning 30 harvests.
Vilosell is made from Tempranillo, Garnacha and Syrah varieties grown on the foothills of the Prades Mountains at an elevation of 700 meters. This medium-bodied red wine has a noticeable freshness on the palate, with fruits that have been harvested through multiple passes – picking for acidity, flavour and ripeness. It is showing aromas and flavours of blackberry, plum, mocha and a hint of black pepper.
