Avize, Oger, Cramant and Bassuet in the Cote de Blancs
DESCRIPTIONAlain Thienot was originally a wine broker for 20 years before he discovered his passion for Champagne and took a huge risk, establishing his own Champagne house in competition with houses that had 3 generations of history and experience. Using the in-depth knowledge of various Champagne Crus over his 20 years in the industry, he carefully selected and sourced fruit from only the most exceptional vineyard parcels. His risk paid off, and Thienot is now established as one of the most highly regarded houses in Champagne, favouring quality over quantity.
A Blanc de Blanc from the Côte des Blancs, this Champagne has a good balance between the maturing rich apple and green-plum fruits and a lovely minerality. Notes of spice and yeastiness are coming through to give the wine a rich palate and generous aftertaste.
