Medici Ermete Lambrusco Reggiano DOC Concerto 2019

The province of Reggio Emilia in Northern Italy has long held a well-deserved reputation for it’s range of excellent products, having introduced the world to Parmigiano Reggiano, Parma Ham, and of course, the delicious sparkling red Lambrusco wines. The Medici family, originally tavern owners before the founding of their winery in 1890, now have 80 hectares of vines in the region, and their vineyards are cultivated completely organically.

Their ‘Concerto’ is exceptionally well balanced, lively yet smooth, with notes of juicy raspberries, black cherry, and cedar. It is best served lightly chilled and enjoyed with traditional Emilian cured meats, mushroom risotto, or pasta dishes.
