DESCRIPTIONAtal Sia means ‘so be it’ and that is exactly how this family approaches their winemaking, showcasing purity of fruit and local terroir with sustainable farming. This blend is 50% Carignan, 23% Mourvèdre, 23% Grenache and 4% Syrah and sees no oak. This estate has been family owned since 1896 and has ownership of some of the oldest vines in the region - wines have been made here since the Roman times. This is an incredibly juicy wine, one sip will evoke memories of juice running down your arms as you bite into a dark plum, the smell of crushed violets and dark pepper. With a lengthy, savoury finish this wine is a fantastic reflection of a Languedoc red blend.
Drinking beautifully now until 2025. Pour a glass to enjoy with a succulent leg of lamb, after a day in the forest with game birds or with your favourite Napoli pizza.
Vegan friendly wine.
