MAGNUM Gayda Chemin De Moscou 2017

‘Chemin de Moscou’ translates to ‘Road to Moscow’, and this wine is so named for the path from the vineyards to a large pine (Moscow Tree) that once served as a meeting place and a navigation beacon to the ‘aeropostale’ delivery service. Each part of this wine has developed for at least 9 months in old French oak, to give layers of spicy complexity; vanilla, hazelnut, and caramel.

Notes of cinnamon and mocha are present on the nose, with bramble, dark forest fruit, liquorice and a hint of mahogany on the palate. Delicious with a cottage pie or rack of lamb.
