Donovan Rall studied viticulture and enology at Stellenbosch and decided to focus on varieties well adapted to the warmth of the Swartland region. He is considered one of the original “garagista” producers in the Swartland region making wines in a distinctive, yet natural style since the first release back in 2008. Rall white is a blend of old vine Chenin Blanc, Verdelho and a touch of Viognier all fermented in old barrels with indigenous yeasts.
This fresh and textured white is showing fruity and floral aromas with an earthy undertone, which is also shown on the palate accompanied by mineral characteristics. Try pairing this delicious white with baked sea bass and lemon caper dressing.
