Pierre Gaillard grew up amongst vines and at age 12, he was found ploughing his family vineyard with a horse. In recent years, Pierre’s son and daughters have been getting more involved, but Pierre’s passion and influence still remains at the core of this family-run domaine. Following her father’s winemaking philosophy, Jeanne has a massive respect for the terroir she tends and produces a perfectly balanced wine. Roussanne grapes for this wine are hand harvested from Collines Rhodaniennes, located in the northern Rhône Valley. Vines are planted on granite soils from the Massif Central. It sees gentle fermentation followed by eight months in fine oak.
The resulting wine shows delicious notes of quince, apple, subtle wild floral and cereal notes.
