QUICK FACTSPays d’Oc, France
Syrah, Grenache, Cinsault
DESCRIPTIONTwenty years ago if you had walked down a road called Chemin du Moscou, or ‘The Road to Moscow’ that leads to this Domaine, you would have come to stand before a large tree. Aptly, this tree was named the Moscow Tree and was immortalised by Saint Exupery in his biographies about his explorations around the world; used as a navigational beacon for many early travellers, due to its size. Sadly, this historical tree was hit by lightning 20 years ago and burnt to the ground.
This rich blend of 72% Syrah, 22% Grenache and 6% Cinsault is named to re-immortalise this famous landmark. Aged for 21 months in French oak, this wine is bursting with black fruits, pepper, cinnamon and spice. A lingering finish of blackberries and brambles tantalises the tastebuds.
