Domaine de Vodanis, Vouvray, Brut 

Created in 2007 by two young friends, Francois Gilet and Nicolas Darracq, the estate of Domaine de Vodanis is situated on limestone soils around the town of Rochecorbon, with vines averaging around 25 years old. The philosophy of this estate revolves around respecting and observing the rhythms of nature; they incorporate sustainable farming practices, as well as some biodynamic elements such as racking their wines according to phases of the moon. On the nose, aromas of almond and honey are prominent, with bruised apple and toasty notes on the palate. This wine would make for a delicious aperitif, or a wonderful accompaniment to lighter canapés​.​
