Brut Nature (Zero Dosage)
DESCRIPTIONFather and daughter team, Claude and Agnès Corbon, manage this small 6 hectare property in the heart of picturesque Avize in the Côte des Blancs, a 100% Grand Cru appellation.
The winery was established in the 1920s when Charles Corbon moved to Avize, worked in a local maison and started to purchase his own vineyards. For 50 years they sold grapes, however in the 1970s the Claude and his family decided to start making their own wine.
Since 2006 Claude and Agnès have been running the family winery together. Their Champagne idea is traditional, yet modern: no filtration or fining, no additives and always an ageing period of at least three years before bottling.
An incredibly vibrant and aromatic wine, bursting with citrus and orchard fruits on the nose. A delicious mouthful offers intense Meyer lemon and under ripe pear flavors with a hint of smokiness, leaving you with a lovely richness on the finish.
