THE WINE
Named after the estate's plough horse 'Oka', this a beautiful organically made regional Burgundy. Aged in oak barrels for 14 to 18 months and bottled unfiltered, this is a characterful and expressive Pinot Noir full of ripe cherry and a wonderful earthy undertone.THE WINEMAKER
Founded in 1942, Domaine Arlaud has its roots in Nuits Saint Georges with a history going back 3 generations. If you're ever in the area, we whole heartedly recommend organising a tasting in their 14th Century cellar which is home to their extensive wine library. The estate now owns 15 ha in 19 separate AOCs including 4 prestigious Grand Crus including Clos de la Roche and Bonnes Mares.
