4 Kilos 12 Volts 2019

4 Kilos is a small winery that was set up in 2006 on the Spanish island of Majorca. The vineyard is the dream of Francesc Grimalt, a former winemaker of Anima Negra known for his efforts in rescuing the Callet variety and Sergio Cabellero, a former musician responsible for the founding of the Sonar Music Festival. The name 4 Kilos refers to the initial investment they spent during their humble beginnings. They have come a long way since the initial vintage, which was vinified in a milk refrigeration unit! These guys love to focus on unusual, indigenous varieties, such as Callet and Fogoneu as well as some international varieties.
