Off the back of the extremely popular Argentinian tastings that we hosted earlier this month, we at Nysa are very excited to be able to invite you to an even more special exploration of Argentinian wine on May 12th.
Bodega Catena Zapata, based in the premium wine region of Mendoza, in the foothills of the Andes mountains, is the best known winery in Argentina and arguably more responsible for the rise of quality in Argentinian wines than anyone else. They have some of the highest vineyards in the world, and are responsible for Argentina’s first “Grand Vin”.
We are lucky enough to be joined by Eclio Dumon, Catena's commercial manager in the UK and authority on Argentine wine, to lead you through a range of their labels, ranging from creamy Chardonnay to some extraordinary single vineyard Malbec (see the full list below).
It wouldn't be an Argentinian tasting without steak, so we'll be partnering with a local butcher to provide some delicious steak sharers, canapes and salads to round off what should be an extremely memorable night!
This is a one night only tasting, taking place in our St John’s Hill branch. Tickets are £65 each and are limited in number so we suggest booking early to avoid disappointment. We can’t wait to see you there!
