THE WINE

A village level wine from the pestigious appllation of Chambolle-Musigny, this 100% Pinot Noir is the very definition of elegance.

With an intense nose full of red berries, rasberry and spices this is a beautifully made Burgundy which is drinking superbly at nearly 7 years old.

Pair this with a veal carpaccio or a smoked duck salad and you're in for an absolute treat!

THE WINEMAKER

David’s journey in Burgundy began when his dad Pierre asked him, at the age of 19, whether he wanted to make wine. Soon after, David started working for Francios Feuillet until 1994 when his father retired and passed the baton over to him.

David quickly set about moving over to organic viticulture stopping the use of herbicides in 1999 and becoming Biogro certified in 2006. Taking inspiration from the old wines from great producers, David moved away from the monolithic style often found in the 1990s becoming more refined incorporating whole clusters, 50-90% stems in the winemaking, and gently crushing by foot as not to break the stems.
