The historic estate of Conde de los Andes has stood and operated on the site for over five hundred years, and has been used as a vineyard for much of that time. The endless cellars that run under the vineyards are used to house the wines until they are deemed ready for consumption by the winemaker – which is a true testament to the quality and care that goes into making the wines. This impressive red is made from 40-year-old Tempranillo vines in the Rioja Alta region, matured in French oak barrels for 14 months and spends additional 12 months in the bottle before being released.
Showing elegance and structure. It pairs wonderfully with Iberian cold cuts, bangers and mash & cured cheeses.
